What is the Children’s Activity Association Kite Mark?

Some of the Activity Providers featured on the Little Starts Gift Card website are members of the Children’s Activities Association, also known as the CAA, and hold their kite mark.

It’s easy to see if a class you are interested in is operated by a CAA member; just look for the logo at the top of their listing on our website.

Being a member of the CAA means that the Activity Provider has met a set of rigorous standards and an independent and comprehensive code of practice covering areas such as safety, standards and education within their children’s activity business.

What is the CAA?

The Children’s Activities Association is an industry-led, not-for-profit organisation founded and governed by experts to help parents, schools, nurseries and children’s activity providers by raising the standards of organised activities across the UK.

Membership of the Children's Activities Association gives children’s activity providers access to resources, community and expert advice. The team are passionate about raising standards for Activity Providers so that parents may access the activities they want to provide to support their child's growth and development with complete peace of mind.

The Children’s Activities Association membership badge is a clear, strong way for activity providers of all sizes to show parents and local communities that rigorous standards have been met and demonstrates all that children’s activity providers do to advance the physical, mental and emotional well-being of early years and children of all ages.
