CRICKET “2nd Innings” Little Wickets for School Aged Kids - Girls & Boys in Reception, Year 1 & 2 More than just learning to bat, bowl and field, Little Wickets sows the seeds for a lifelong passion for sport. ‘The Spirit of Cricket’ is at the heart of everything we do. Kids have so much fun they don’t even realise the positive life skills they are learning. In the “2nd Innings” Little Wickets sessions the fun warm-up games, skill based activities & soft ball cricket games build on the ‘FUNdamentals of Movement’, enhancing the kids hand/eye coordination, physical fitness, a sense of co-operation & fair play. It’s not a cricket match. However, there is a clear focus on ‘The Spirit of Cricket’, good sportsmanship, team-work, individual skill development and game play. The kids grow in confidence and start to build a lifelong commitment and passion for team sport. Most importantly the emphasis is always on joining in and having fun!
