Little Starts Gift Cards Launch in Sainsbury’s

A few short years ago, Little Starts Gift Cards was just the seed of an idea. It was barely even an acorn when founder Katie Lavis had her ‘wouldn’t it be good if…’ moment. From that moment, something special started growing.

The idea of a gift card dedicated to baby, toddler and preschool classes made perfect sense. Nothing like it existed on the market, and they would be so beneficial for new parents, parents-to-be, and their little ones.

It’s taken dedication and a bucket load of hard work, but fast forward five years (minus a couple for a global pandemic!), and we have hit a major milestone. We are DELIGHTED to announce that Little Starts Gift Cards are now available to buy in Sainsbury’s supermarkets across the UK!

Little Starts in National Retailers

Continuing our success of building a product that can be used with more than 14,000 baby, toddler, and preschool classes across the UK and securing a presence in major high street retailers is a massive achievement for the Little Starts team.

From the end of November 2023, Little Starts Gift Cards will be available in around 600 Sainsbury’s stores. You can find them on the gift card fixture in Sainsbury’s superstores and also on a special Christmas display unit across the Christmas period.

As we head into December and the New Year, you will also be able to find our gift cards in Argos and Currys across the UK.

Little Starts Gift Cards are an ideal Christmas gift that provides an alternative to toys or clothes. A memorable year for Little Starts

Little Starts’ launch into retail stores comes at the end of a memorable year for the team. Earlier in 2023, we took home two big prizes at the Gift Card and Voucher Association Hall of Fame Awards.

We were honoured to take home the Best B2C Product or Service award, as voted for by retail giants like John Lewis and Marks & Spencer.

The second award was for Katie Lavis, picking up Rising Star of the Year, voted for by her peers in the industry. What an achievement for our entrepreneurial founder and a huge accolade for the business.

Commenting on the retail launch, Katie said: “These new listings mark a very exciting time as we continue to grow and expand across the UK.

“When I created Little Starts, I wanted to build a brand that would make life easier when giving thoughtful, memorable gifts.
